- 1Choose what to protect
Keep Protection Mode on and choose Personal Information.
- 2Keep readable aliases
Readable replacements preserve useful context. Start with Keep protected.
- 3Drop the fictional spreadsheet
Use the CloakShift protected composer and wait for the attachment to say Protected.
- 4Ask for the summary
Type: “Summarize every client with a past-due balance and group them by account manager.”
- 5Review mappings before sending
Open the local preview, reveal fictional originals when needed, and inspect every protected replacement.
- 6Press Enter when ready
Only the protected file and protected question go to the AI service.
- 7Read the protected summary
The AI returns the balances using protected customer and account-manager names.
- 8Restore locally
Choose Restore inside secure panel to see supported originals only on your computer.

Choose Keep protected to confirm what the AI service received and retained.
